Country Kids Preschool, invites applications for Pre-School teaching positions, to commence duties in January 2020
THE CORE FUNCTION OF THE POSITION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
- Daily professional interaction and communication with parents
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress. Use assessment data to adjust instructional content and deliver techniques accordingly
- Attend weekly feedback meetings with Principal and the Curriculum Co-Oridinator to enhance teaching practices
- Contribute to and participate in co-curricular program for at least one activity in the course of a term
- Close team work and collegiality within the Grade
- Work closely with our Curriculum Co-Ordinator to deliver impactful lessons
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Posses a minimum 3 year teaching degree in Early Childhood Development and a SACE registration certificate
- Love for teaching and care deeply about the success of each and every student
- An understanding of and passion for enquiry-based, student-centered learning
- Deep understanding of children and how to connect with the specific age group that you teach
- Deeply committed to your development as a teacher and welcome constructive feedback, translating feedback into improvements and innovation in your approach and in your classroom
- Have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written)
- Have strong computer skills
- Reside in close proximity of the school or surrounding area
