Manners 4 Minors
Lessons in Personal, Social & Emotional Development
This is not a cultural program but rather a fun, interactive way of introducing young children to the benefits of behaving and using manners that are universally accepted.
MISS MANNERS, as a teacher of the program is known, will show that behaving in a particular way, will ensure that you are liked by your teachers, accepted by your friends and you will have a better chance in life. A well-mannered child that becomes a well-mannered adult has an enormous advantage over his peers
Bullying
- Physical bullies hurt us on our bodies
- Verbal bullies hurt us with their ugly words
- Bullies hurt us on purpose because they want to
- We feel sad, scared, hurt and angry if we are bullied
- If someone hurts us by mistake, they ALWAYS say sorry, bullies never say sorry
- Bullies can be younger than us, the same age as us, older than us, even adults can be bullies
- Nobody is allowed to hurt us on our bodies, nor with their ugly words
- Reaction Steps (If being bullied)
- Act brave
- Look the bully in the eye and say “STOP! DON’T DO THAT!”
- Walk away and tell, tell, tell until someone helps you
- Anti Bully War Cry
- “BOO for bullies, they’re not cool, we don’t want them in our school!”
